I had a back injury. Well, not much of a back injury a week before, but enough to make me very cautious of the 27 holes he had committed to play for the team in our annual golf tournament.

So, as the carriage is self-powered thought it would be safe to let go momentarily while I was a second or two to put on my shirt on the walk up the street. This is achieved, then I tried to reach a few meters from the car. However, I was more tired and his back was stiffer than I realized and found that he could not go fast enough to compensate for distance.
