The Holiday - 3 Stars (Good)

Christmas is coming and suddenly everyone is busy preparing for another holiday season. A film can be very funny. We want to be entertained and interested by a story that keeps us alert and have a happy ending.

Nancy Meyers provides what you need as a writer / director of "The Holiday", a romantic comedy with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, Eli Wallach. Described by one spectator as chocolate "of Switzerland in the romantic comedy," certainly qualifies as their only winning the Teen Choice Award for Best Chick Flick.

Actually, I thought of vacation to be a little more than a chick movie. As a student of relationships that provide a happy ending to the dilemma of women who engage in relationships with men who almost seem interested, but always cheat.

The holiday's premise is simple enough. Stuck in impossible relationships, with two men from time Los Angeles resident Amanda (Cameron Diaz) and Londoner Iris (Kate Winslet) decide to exchange homes during the Christmas holidays in an effort to forget their problems.

Both Amanda and Iris are in unusual circumstances and are forced to confront what they are and what they want in a relationship. Amanda must look inward to find the emotion that escaped him in his youth, and Iris must look outward to be more self-absorbed in her perfect relationship does not exist.

Amanda, the owner and creative force of a film trailers of the publishing pace in the face of Hollywood dumps its trap Ethan (Edward Burns) and is even more alone in a house in Surrey (near London) where he meets Iris' brother Graham (Jude Law), a widower with two daughters. Iris meets Arthur Abbott (Eli Wallach), a writer of the film made in Beverly Hills that he would love to have as their great-grandfather. Arthur tells Iris that "films that have leading ladies and we best friends. You, I can tell, is a hero, but for some reason, they are behaving like the best friend ".

Finally, Iris meets with Miles (Jack Black), a film composer who suffers from the same disease problems as Iris predestined relationship, and the two form a bond of sweet happiness assured.

The chemistry between Amanda and Graham are excellent, and holiday benefits of great Christmas music and good leadership of Nancy Meyers.

The boys will not go soft on this film, but would do well to pay attention to what girls really want. The holiday is a great movie for the season Christmas, it will emphasize your emotions, but will fill you with good feelings.

How to Measure Blood Pressure

Do you know how to measure blood pressure? More and more people are becoming interested in the subject.

A machine called a sphygmomanometer is used to measure blood pressure. The machine has three parts: the cuff, the cuff and sphygmomanometer inflation bulb.

To measure blood pressure patients, the cuff is wrapped around the upper arm with him laying flat to back on a table or flat surface, the cuff is secured in place by a Velcro patch. The doctor or nurse then places a stethoscope on the lower part of the arm just above the brachial artery. The inflation bulb is pumped to 180, while the doctor or nurse uses a stethoscope to hear the heartbeat heart. By using the pump to inflate the cuff, cut the flow of blood to the artery.

Once the meter reaches 180, the valve on the cuff slowly released the first set of numbers that the doctor or nurse counts is the systolic pressure (or top number), the second set of numbers you hear is the diastolic (or bottom number), the process of taking blood pressure with the cuff is done in five phases.

• The first phase is where the real blood pressure is taken as in the previous steps.

• The second stage is when the blood that was cut so that the pressure starts to read again flow through the arteries.

• The third stage is when the blood becomes even more to the arteries and can be heard.

• Stage 4 blood flow can be heard again.

• In the last stage, the blood flow is normal and the process of taking blood pressure is complete!

This explanation is a description of how a doctor or nurse does a blood pressure measurement. Fortunately, there are other methods that are not so complicated. The invention of the automatic blood pressure or home blood pressure monitor has taken a lot of stress outside people who have the power to monitor blood pressure at home.

An automatic blood pressure monitor makes all the hard work of the blood pressure measurement for you.

Simply adjust the band around your arm and pull hard following the instructions to make sure they have the location correct and the tube is in the inside of his arm.

After setting the monitor to the proper configuration of the 180 / 140 or 120. Your doctor will tell you what use. Then press the button and relax your arm, as the machine does all the work. When completed it will sound and the reading of your blood pressure will ready for reading and writing.

Blood pressure monitors come in a variety of sizes and price ranges. If you're on the go a lot, have a smaller in the display box actually gives the cuff. These are more expensive but easier to carry.

A blood pressure machine referred to as an ambulatory blood pressure is attached to persons'arm and blood pressure is measured over a period of 24 hours.
